    Description

    This handsome gentleman is a companion for the Gibson girl.  He is 6 inches tall and hIs head, lower arms and lower legs are all porcelain so his head is immovable.  The rest of his body is very flexible and he can bend at the waist.  I intended him to kneel for a proposal but changed my mind (or his) and used him somewhere else. (He can kneel).  He has a medium brown mustache to match his hair and has blue eyes. His hands are masculine as compared to the lady's.  He wears a gray stripped jacket over a white shirt (the cuffs peep out of his sleeves).  His blue tie is properly tied and his jacket sports gray buttons and two pockets.   His trousers are a darker gray and his shoes are painted.
    I purchased him along with the lady, a boy and girl from a dealer in England in1995.  I had another English artisan named Carol Blakemore  dress them.  I had planned a proposal scene under an arbor with the boy and girl peeking through the vines.  Alas not to be!  Look for the other dolls in my listings.
