Presented here is a beautiful vintage 1984 artist made/ signed doll. This doll is made of all bisque with a five piece body, good strings, holds a pose nicely, she is 12" tall. Lovely high color face with glass hazel/ brown eyes, stationary, finely hand painted lashes, feathered brows, open coral mouth with two teeth, tongue. She has short light reddish- brown hair with bangs. Signed on the back of the head; Jan Dochring/ New Orleans/ 1984. The clothing is all handmade, her dress is deep ivory, made of crisp cotton voile, ornately trimmed with lace and woven with peach ribbons, accented with peach silk rosette appliques. The dress has an attached  white cotton petticoat, underneath she has matching bloomers. Her bonnet is full and crisp with ruffled lace. She has rayon knit socks and adorable  velvety shoes with peach rosettes on the toes, peach ribbon ankle ties. She holds a small mohair bunny with peach ears. All in excellent vintage condition, clean, sturdy, no stains, no tears.  Absolutely precious!
