from Springfield Butter & Coffee Store, 3839 W. 26th St., Chicago! Pictured is children jumping & swimming in creek with 1910 & calendar months. There is a poem: "But the merry days of youth is beyond our control And it's hard to part ferever with the old swimmin' hole". James Whitcomb Riley. There is a tiny bump under 'the' on plate, from when manufactured. Picture is fairly bright, plate has some crackling under glaze due to age. But there are no cracks, no chips, no breaks. Is stamped on back Vodrey China. Measures 7 5/8 inches across. Some gold paint wear around edge. Love the name Butter & Coffee Store! Great for collectors & as Farmhouse Kitchen Decor!
