T-Hexx Dry Blue Sealant
Easy to use external teat sealant that protects against infection at times when cows are most likely to contract an mammary gland infection leading to mastitis—at dry-off and pre-calving. Contains no harsh chemicals, non-irritating, and dries quickly.
T-Hexx Dry contains an antimicrobial that safely and effectively sanitizes teats; dries in minutes and lasts for 3 to 7 days as a persistent coating.
Uses a safe antimicrobial agent called Triclosan that is widely used in cosmetics and other human applications so it is safe and non-irritating.
Effectively seals the teat end when cows are most likely to contract mastitis causing bacterial infections saving the producer significantly when compared to the cost of treating just one case of mastitis.
One quart will treat approximately 72 cows.
Instructions for Use
At dry off milk cow out completely. Infuse dry-cow antibiotic of choice into clean dry teats and follow with T-Hexx by using a 3-oz disposable cup to apply to entire length of teat. For maximum protection a second coat of product may be applied when first coat is dry.
For pre-calving protection: 10 days prior to calving clean teat thoroughly, and dry with a towel. Apply T-Hexx as described above. Sealant should remain on for 3 to 7 days. Peel any remaining sealant off after calving prior to milking.
