    Description

    Advertising plate from Carl Foote of State Center, Iowa.  8 1/2" diameter.  Good condition, no chips or cracks, lots of crazing.  Ship Ahoy with verse and transfer of a ship in the middle.  Made by Crown Pottery Co., don't know if the 10 29 is a date code or pattern number.  The plate would date from the 1920s period.  State Center is in Marshall County between Ames and Marshalltown.  Shipping weight just over 1 pound.
