Meet Satoko from Kyoto, Japan
Like every doll I create, Satoko-
chan
(dear, little) is completely handmade. I sculptured her head, face and legs with polymer clay and her hands with resin. Her eyes I hand painted. Her hair is genuine human hair that I bought in bulk. Her body is made of long, thin wood shavings that I enclosed in a strong cloth. Her kimono I designed, cut, and sewed from antique silk kimono cloth. She comes already mounted on her chair. As I hope my photos of her show, she is a one hundred percent authentic Japanese female (as am I!) I'm sure you will find her a delightful and lifelike companion in your home. But
please
take very good care of her.
I'm sorry, but much as it breaks my heart to see any of my children leave, you cannot return Satoko-chan to me.
I also apologize for the high shipping cost. FedEx International Economy rates from Japan are extremely expensive and UPS is even more expensive.
