    "Shawn" By Doll Artist Helen McCook
    Peace doll "Shawn" 13" tall by doll artist Helen McCook made in 1976.  Painted eye porcelain shoulder head, arms, and legs, and cloth body.  This is a doll individually made by the artist and is #7 of Shawn and marked on back of head.  He has hand made clothing and molded hair.  Helen McCook was from Bucks County, P.A. and wrote for both Doll Castle News and The Doll Maker.  Shawn is in vintage displayed condition, I see age coloring on his body especially right leg with a small blood stain from hand stitching of legs on body.  One snap on his shirt could use a couple of stitches.  Hat is a little big for doll.  There is no doll stand or tag with doll.
