Teddydoll style doll
Nika - Meaning in Persian: Good, Pure, Beautiful, Royal.
Pashtuns give the title Nika to their kings and poets.
Nika is a doll that was sewn in the bear style.
The head, arms and legs are movable.
The costume is completely removable and sewn from a German viscose fabric for Teddy's (the snaps are sewn from the inside and therefore not visible).
Fine wood spires and wood wool were used as filling material for the torso/body. The not too tight filling created an effect of the slightly sagging body, which conveys the emotion of sadness.
The arms and legs were filled with filler wadding and are very comfortable to handle.
The body was sewn from a blend of linen and cotton and tinted with pastel color to create a vintage look.
The face and hands are made of CERAMIC FAIENCE/ porcelain and have been hand-painted in loving fine work, the hair is a human hair of the Tibetan lamb.
The feet are hand modeled and painted.
The size of the doll is approx. 33.5 cm,
