Description

This is a lightweight one liter glass Canadian milk bottle with a metal cap on it from the dairy. It is labeled in blue pyro the same way on both sides with an usually shaped triple line around most of the blue pyro writing. It is labeled as follows:

The cap has writing on it, all in English, including that it is
2% PARTIALLY SKIMMED MILK
Embossed on opposing shoulders is
STATIEGELDFLES
(means returnable bottle in Dutch) and
PFANDFLASCHE
(means deposit bottle in German). I have no idea why German and Dutch writing are on a British Columbia milk bottle but my guess is that the milk bottle was actually manufactured in Germany or Holland.
Surrey is located in British Columbia, Canada, southeast of Vancouver and less than 10 miles from the USA border. Landmark Dairy may be out of business and Saputo, Inc. is at their address but may also be a dairy. Landmark Dairy was known to still be in existence in the early 2000s which is the era of this milk bottle.
The white inside the milk bottle is Styrofoam beads to simulate milk, do not harm the bottle and can be easily removed. The milk bottle is in like new condition and may never have been used.
The bottle comes from a pet and smoke free home.
