This is a rare REPRINT of the 1874 Izmir Kabbala book entitled Refuah VeChayyim (Healing and Life) authored by the Sage Rabbi Chayim Palagi (Falagi). The book deals with segulos and amulets. Segulot being various things people do that have a cosmic effect on others.
There's quite a bit of detail for example on how to: have an easy childbirth, various foods to eat and not to eat, deafness in children, to remove evil thoughts, to have a super memory,  to make people like you, to remove black magic spells, to remove the evil eye and over 100 different remedies which in my opinion should have some scientific evaluation (if they work). There are dozens of diagrams as well on how to make various amulets.
The author translated and spoke ladino and inside the book there are some lapses in ladino (see the 2 scans below for examples) to explain certain plants and prayers which are NOT part of the regular liturgy.
There are 136 pages in this book. Printed in Jerusalem in  1978 and is now out of print.
