What a wonderful opportunity to get one of Heather Maciak NIADA Artist fine full porcelain dolls. THIS LISTING IS FOR  Katie in Red # 3/15.
8" Katie is such a lovely small edition  and this She 8" blonde with mohair wig has a  full porcelain doll body with an endearing smile with tiny freckles. The porcelain is sanded so finely and the details of the painted eyes and tiny lashes is extraordinary to accomplish  in this small scale. This NIADA artist is one of the very few who works in this tiny scale in full porcelain. All the clothing and the doll is made by Heather. This is not a production doll this is one of the artist’s creations not made by a manufacturer.  Katie has a wooden base that attaches with a wire through her foot so she balances and poses in many different ways. There is no need for a clunky metal stand she comes on a wood base.
The tags on the dolls denotes her name  Katie # 3/15. Photos do not do justice to this finely crafted  doll with tiny details.   These dolls are from my NY store inventory in perfect condition, of course there is no smoking or other enviornmental issues with our store stock.
Katie is the Perfect shelf size and a significant highlight to a NIADA artist collection.
