Carina means Little Dear One. She is a natural beauty and she loves to dance. She always wears a puffy skirt and comfy shoes to shine on the dance floor.
She is very strong and knows what she wants.
Her mouth was hand painted and cheeks colored with make up. She has eyelashes for a dramatic look. The head is decorated with lace trim and orange beads.
Lace top and tulle skirt with a crystal strips on the waist line.
Feet are decorated with ribbon and crystal strips
She is VERY DELICATE needs to be handle VERY GENTLY.
Her body is 100%cotton and stuffed with poly fiber.
Clothing and accessories cannot be removed.
As she cannot stand by herself a doll stand, also made by me, is provided for displaying.
She measures about 62cm / 24,5 inches tall.
The art dolls are designed and handmade by me. I often use the same body pattern and confection them in cotton or linen and fill with polyester stuffing.
I like to use a wide variety of materials, as well hand embroidery, for customizing them from beads, appliqués and paper to vintage or recycled fabrics, laces and small objects that I find in vintage shops to make them even more unique. Clothes and accessories cannot be removed.
They are not intended to be toys. Due to small parts they are not suitable for small children. They are for displaying only.
Handle them with care e love and keep them away from direct sunlight and any source of heat or water.
My art dolls are handmade so you may well see tiny imperfections, this is a normal sign of a handmade item, that's why it is called "one of a kind". Those only will add a certain unicity to the item.
I do my best to photograph my dolls as accurately as possible but due to differences in computer screens there may be small differences in coloring.
I make the dolls with love and care and I hope you will enjoy them as much as do in making them.
