The process starts with a clear glass plate blank. An image or fabric is added to the back of the plate, then the rest of the back is hand-painted with a design to complement the theme (Photo does not do the intricate painting justice). Then the entire back is overpainted with a highly durable sealing paint.
Since the front surface is the clear glass, the plate can be displayed or even used with food.
If used with food, do not use in microwave or oven. Hand wash gently, do not wash in dishwasher.
Measures 10" diameter x 1".
