This listing is for an old advertising plate from F. Mullen in Centre Valley, PA.  I was not able to locate the business so I don't know if this was a store, service business or something else.
The plate has a maker's mark on the back indicating it was made by the china company McNicol in Ohio.
Plate measures 9.25" diameter. It is white with gold color trimming and in the center it says Gatun Dam Panama Canal (made between 1907-1913).  The compliments wording is at the bottom. It is not dated, however, these type of advertising plates were popular at the turn of the century and for several years there after.
Condition of this plate is as shown in the photos with this listing. I don't see or feel chips and there are no repairs. Some imperfections are seen on the back and most look like they may be original to when it was made. A few light scratches, age and use rub and scuff. This plate is being sold "as is" as was found. A fun collectible item for anyone interested in historic items from Centre Valley, PA.  I'm guessing this is now called Center Valley, PA but I don't know for sure.
