This auction is for a nice Antique Sandwich Lacy Glass, Cobalt Blue Glass Child's Pointed Ovals Toy Tumbler, c. 1830-1850. The pressed toy tumbler is a beautiful example of Sandwich colored glass a with pressed oval design. The tumbler has a wonderful deep cobalt blue glass color and a rough blown pontil on the base and is in flint glass. This tumbler is listed in "A Guide To Sandwich Glass Witch Balls, Containers and Toys" by Barlow and Kaiser, plates #3320. This adorable little toy tumbler is a "leaner" as the base is angled to one side. I offer the toy tumbler here with no reserve and a "Buy It Now". DIMENSIONS: The toy cobalt glass tumbler is 1 13/16" H. x 1 9/16" Dia. CONDITION: The condition is good with some chips and nicks to the base rim. This tumbler is also a "leaner", as the base is not straight so the tumbler leans to one side. There are some great imperfections in the glass such as bubbles, striations, sand and an unpolished bubble at the seam.
