Antique Bohemian Overlay Glass Tazza Compote Stand on Silverplate Base c1870

Description

About 150 years old bohemian cranberry glass that was overlaid with white glass, painted with gilt and added to the silver base. High quality as even the backside was polished and the silverplate is ornately decorated. All that remains are remnants of the gilt inside the bowl, but otherwise looks good. Silver needs to be polished and does have a couple very small dings which you have to look for...... and with this polished will become pretty indistinguishable. The glass has a very small under rim chip but is solid and is as shown in the photos. About 6 3/4" tall and 7 1/8" diameter.
