Fabulous antique Bohemian Moser trinket box of Clear art glass with hand painted enamel design and Stork and groups of Lilly of The Valley Flowers with Reeds what incredible detail.
The box has round shaped body, with hand painted thick enamel as Moser does. Set into gilded bronze mounts with hinged lid, hinge and clasp works properly.
Truly a splendid piece of art glass and a fine example of Moser in their prime. Overall in excellent condition for its age, showing slight wear to enamel but has no chips, cracks or repair; the bronze dore mounts have a wonderful bright patina.
It stands on 4 decorative feet 4" high, 5" diameter at the widest.
It is not only a fine example of antique glass, but a beautiful treasure from the Victorian era and almost impossible to find in this condition.
I have never seen is example before and perhaps commissioned for a Baby present given the Stork and fragrant Lilly Of The Valley
These Bohemian glass boxes are truly wonderful, ranging in a variety of colors and shapes and themes and as such absolutely beautiful, great to collect and display for all to see.
