Item Description
An interesting hand forged animal collar, I believe for a cow or steer.  In overall fair used condition with moderate pitting.  Has a brass tag on the large portion of the band and a few ornate hanging brass tags. There is some ornate decoration overall.  Has a locking mechanism to hold it closed, is missing a small piece that holds the two pieces together, not sure what it would look like.  Very interesting.  Measures about 34 inches when laid out.  Have been told it may be English in origin.  Not sure.
