    Description

Antique Advertising Plate for "L. Goldstein, No 147 Bay St., Clothes the family, furnishes the home."
    The
artwork is based on a painting by Benjamin West of the same title depicting William Penn and Native Americans in 1683. It is printed in navy ink with the remaining plate decoration in gold. The plate measures about
    6 1/8" in diameter.
There is wear to the gold, especially around the outer edge, but is good condition overall. There are two small nicks on the edge; one each on top and bottom edge as pictured in last two photos.
The plate is marked "Globe China G.P.C.O." however, the stamp is just a ghost which was confirmed by comparison to another plate in the series depicting Pocahontas.
