    Description

OUR WEB SITE     zourdough     HAS HUNDREDS OF RECIPES WAITING FOR YOU ALSO!!!
this starter makes a big airy loaf of bread, exactly what everyone wants..
ALASKAN SOURDOUGH STARTER, VERY STRONG, alaskan sour, deal with it, san francisco has nothing on this one.
This is our alaskan sourdough starter yeast, dried and pulverized for quick activation.
It comes from the Aleutian islands of Alaska, whats that you say, how did we get this one?  Well, when you have a son in the u.s. coast guard, and he does 5 tours in Alaska, and he knows we do sourdough, well, all we can say is thank you.
This is one for the real sourdough crazies out there, not as sour as the Frontiersman, but definitely better than most s.f sourdoughs, in our opinion. How old is it, he says the woman who shared it with him, says late 1800's, all we know is that it is good.
We are making a market here on ebay.
Over time we will be adding an alaskan sourdough yeast and a San Franciscan sourdough yeast, both of which have a long history and have been cultivated to stay in their original form.
We also include recipes for the perfect loaf, pizza dough, bread rolls and lots of help.
Have fun with our starters and enjoy
Instructions are included to activate our starter, in fact it's so simple here they are:
