Description
This vintage 1940's clear glass milk bottle is in good condition with no chips or cracks, but it does have a scratch (see last photo...zoom or enlarge any of the photos for a closer look). Theburgundy

pyroglaze Applied Color Labels (ACL) are in very good condition with little wear. The labels read: Old Tavern Farm - PORTLAND, MAINE and "Here's your daily sunshine" OLD TAVVY - IRRADIATED Vitamin D MILK. Embossed on the base of the 2 3/4" diameter x 6 1/2" tall bottle is: REGISTERED SEALED A - L52 ("L" = Lamb Glass Co. "52" is not a year, but was a Lamb Glass plant identifier number). Embossed on the neck of the bottle is: MAINE SEAL L52 CONTENTS 10 FLU. OZ. The number 3 is embossed on the underside of the bottle.
