    Description

    1/8” (3mm) 12x20 actual size(11.75”x19.75) pieces Birch Plywood
The Wood Shop Company is making available the same High grade Baltic Birch Plywood we use in our shop to you. This is 3mm (1/8”) measuring out between 3mm to 3.175mm as we source from multiple mills. Be sure to mic your material before use. Baltic Birch Imported from Russia. This is a BB/BB grade product:
Both the face and the back veneers are single piece veneers with no splices. The face and back veneers can have up to 6 small color-matched patches (egg sized footballs or another shape), some light mineral streaks this may be dark brown or light brown and can vary between pieces as this is a natural material. There may be tight pin knots also. Inner cores are solid single piece veneers.
Keep in mind this is wood and wood grains vary. This is thin material and can warp within hours due to climate changes.
    This Plywood is Awesome for:
    Glowforge laser
    Engraving
    Scroll Saw
    Laser Etching
    Laser Cutting
    CNC Cutting
    Crafting of all sorts
    Painting
    Wood Burning
    Band Saw
    Sign Making
    and more.
This Plywood measures out as 3mm thick as it is imported from Russia. Material thickness varies as it is only sanded on one side this tends to throw the thickness off a bit +/- sometimes the material runs a Heavy 3mm and sometimes under. Please be sure to measure before starting your projects.
Grain direction may run long or short.
I hope this material works as well for your shop as it does ours.
Due to the nature of thin plywood, some warping may happen during shipping because of temperature and humidity changes. Although we store our wood flat with weights on top, some warping may occur during shipment. We also recommend you that you lay it flat with a weight on top to keep it as flat as possible, you can also wet the wood before storing under weight to help it flatten. We also recommend that you secure your wood flat to your laser bed with hold down pins for even cutting.
